The Association of Independent Press (API) has completed the administrative and technical evaluation of the applications filed for the Local Grants Program, Media and Communication

In February 2020, the Working Group that included representatives of the Association of Independent Press (API) and of the German Development Agency (GIZ) carried out the administrative evaluation of the 31 project proposals, filed within the Local Grants Program, Media and Communication, funded by the European Union and implemented by GIZ in partnership with API.

Of the total number of 31 project proposals filed, only 23 passed the administrative evaluation, while the other eight were rejected for not meeting the mandatory requirements as per the Applicant’s Guide.

Subsequently, 23 project proposals were technically evaluated and the Working Group established the necessary minimal score for admission to the following stage i.e. documentation visits. The results obtained showed that 15 project proposals collected the necessary minimal score and are to be verified during onsite visits while other eight projects were not admitted to the following stage.

The final results of the selection process will be published on Eu4civilsociety.md and Api.md.
